1800 Halal Chicken - Zubaidah Tallab Winnipeg

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatu

Due to the rising cost of fresh Halal chicken (and fresh chicken in general) - now hovering around $3 a pound - and the consequential difficulties of some families to meet their requirements for fresh Halal chicken, the Zubaidah Tallab Foundation has made available 1,800 fresh chickens at only $1.85 a pound. Properties are

• Personally made "Halal" by the charity
• 5 weeks old at butchering
• Average weight of each chicken is 3.5 pounds
• Chickens were fed a mullet of wheat, soybeans & barley
• Chickens were all butchered yesterday, Saturday Jan. 26
• Chickens are sold by box. Average box weight 52 lbs (14-15 chickens)
• chicken are gutted, cleaned and in separate bags
• There are 125 boxes and be on a first come first serve basis
• Pictures above are some chickens before butchering and an example of a box
