I am a graduate student at the university of Manitoba doing a research study on the perception about healthy lifestyles of Muslim immigrant women from Afghanistan, Pakistan and India. I got this contact information from the recently printed "Salam" magazine available at Millad store. I would appreciate your help in promoting this research study to your members so that eligible participants can apply and have their voices heard in this study.
Eligible participants are first generation female Muslim immigrants who have lived in Winnipeg for more than 1 year and do not have any major health conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, cancer, etc.
All participants will be paid a $15 gift certificate from a food store.
Please let me know if any further information is needed. Afghan women who would like to speak in Dari instead of English are encouraged to participate as well.
